All this talk about the importance of one death over another sickens me.
Both Winehouse’s death and that of the 87 from Norway are important.
Winehouse was a short-lived musical icon, at least as far as female Brits are concerned. Whether you believe it or not, her death shows just how addiction and self-destructive behaviour can completely ruin a person.
